Had a date: The singer and songwriter was accompanied on the red carpet by his actress girlfriend Schuyler Helford, 27, who wore a very low-cut pale pink gown with a train Groban is co-hosting the 72nd annual Tony Awards, which honor the best of Broadway, with actress and singer Sara Bareilles. The two are friends and neither has emcee'd a major awards show. Both, though, are Broadway veterans and former Tony Award nominees. Bareilles, who walked the red carpet with actor boyfriend Joe Tippett, earned a nod in 2016 for composing the music and lyrics to the hit musical Waitress.
